About Us
Providing experienced, relationship-focused accounting and advisory services for more than 20 years.

Meet Paul
I started Black CPA & Associates because most small business owners need more than a tax return at the end of the year.
They need clean books. They need a tax plan. They need someone who is paying attention before there is a problem — not after.
That is the kind of firm I have been building since 2014.
Before starting Black CPA & Associates, I worked in corporate finance roles across the software and pharmaceutical industries. My background includes corporate finance, forensic accounting, bookkeeping, tax preparation, and advisory work for business owners. I'm also an active member of the Florida Institute of CPAs (FICPA) and the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA).
Outside the office, life is mostly my three kids, their sports and arts events, and trying to keep up with a full family calendar. I am also a die-hard Jacksonville Jaguars fan and enjoy fishing, boating, and getting out on the water whenever I can — usually with Puck, my goldendoodle, by my side.
At the end of the day, my goal is simple: help business owners stay organized, avoid tax surprises, and make better financial decisions all year long.
